SALE 20" Dried Rose Silk Tiffany Shortie Lampshade

Introducing our Tiffany lampshade in a woven ‘Matka’ silk.

Hand stitched and pleated around a bespoke bronze frame with our specially commissioned linen fringing.

The Tiffany range of lampshades are left unlined allowing the pleated pattern and vibrancy of the fabrics to be viewed from underneath. 

Lampshade compatible with B22 and E27 lamp holders.

If you wish to use this lampshade on a lamp we recommend using a 4W LED short globe or candle bulb as the shape is quite shallow.

Please note the price is for the lampshade only and pendant accessories / lampstands can be purchased in the shop.

LINEN FRINGE CARE

Our new linen fringe has a wild and bushy nature and may need a bit of taming after transportation. You will receive a set of care instructions along with your order on how to get your fringe looking it’s best.

Matka Silk:

Matka is essentially an upcycled silk made from the short threads that have broken away from the main filament. These short threads are spun into yarns with a slightly uneven texture and less of a shine than conventional silk, as they are made up of several broken threads.  This results in in a unique fabric with a slightly more matte appearance, although it shimmers very subtly when placed in sunlight.  The threads’ spun nature means that they create a slightly thicker silk but still very soft, giving it a feel between cotton and cashmere.
