Alice and Carole are pleased to present their first joint lighting collection, showcasing a wonderful range of nature’s colour palette. Each lampshade is hand pleated in organic dip dyed silks, braids and fringing, using a range of botanical dyes to achieve a beautiful ombré effect perfect for lighting.
“Each lampshade silk is hand dipped using a range of natural dyes including privet leaves, yew twigs, birch bark and nettle leaves, along with classic botanical dyes of Madder root and natural Indigo. Time is spent dip-dyeing the colours to create an ombré effect, all of which is enriched by Alice’s hand pleated lampshade design” – Carole, Laikstyle
